The Joffe Oxygenator is an apparatus that produces and automatically injects oxygen. It has obtained excellant results in treating respiratory diseases such as asbestosis. Sub-cutaneous Oxygen Therapy was originally developed in Europe and has been successfully used in the treatment of low po2 (low partial oxygen) problems the early 1960's.
