The other day I had a look at the first few pages of Google and that prompted me to add this column to my information as I have the only magnetic underlay that is still made here.     Now if buying a truely Australian made quality product is important be conscious of some clever advertising ploys to deceive you. Some companies will emphasise proudly 100% Australian owned. What they are really saying is that its made in china. The Company name has the word Australian in it which gives the impression of Australian made products. Means made in china. One used the cliche, "products made with Australian materials". When asked "where were they made", they replied "it’s a 100% Australian product, assembled off shore"!!!!  Made in China. Further to that I was only asked the other week what are the main differences between my underlay and Biomagnetics. In my opinion there are two main differences My magnets are very strong and placed close to the skin, so you get the full effect of the magnetic therapy and Biomagnetics endorse their thick wool which in my personal opinion and common sense, impedes the effectiveness of the magnets (read more about wool a bit further down the page).  Even in their cotton underlay one of their strongest claimed advantages is their "thick quilting for superior comfort". A Queen underlay was offered to me for under $40 and that’s with him making a profit. I have previously inquired and found that I can purchase woolen underlay’s (in very large quantities of course) off shore for much less than what I manufacture my own cotton underlay for.
